Immune system

by Alivia Nyhan

The immune system is a system of the body which helps to protect us from infection and disease. It is made up of a network of cells, tissues, and organs that work together to identify and destroy harmful substances. The immune system is constantly working to protect us from illness, and when it detects a threat, it springs into action to fight the invader. There are many different types of cells in the immune system, each with its specific function. For example, some cells help to identify foreign substances, while others destroy infected cells. The immune system is constantly on the lookout for anything that could harm the body, and it is always ready to spring into action to protect us.

Some common immune system issues:

High eosinophils: High eosinophils levels in the blood are often indicative of an underlying autoimmune disorder. The immune system is a complex network of cells, tissues, and organs that work together to protect the body from foreign invaders.

Swollen spleen: Swollen spleen is one of the common symptoms of a weak immune system. It can be caused by a variety of things, including certain infections, autoimmune diseases, and cancer. Natural remedies for a swollen spleen include: drinking plenty of fluids, eating a balanced diet, getting enough rest, and avoiding alcohol and smoking.

Chikungunya: Chikungunya is a disease that is transmitted by mosquitoes. It causes fever, joint pain, and rash. There is no specific treatment for chikungunya, but the disease usually goes away on its own after a few weeks. There are no specific foods that will help prevent or treat chikungunya, but eating a well-balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables will help boost your immune system. Home remedies for chikungunya include rest, drinking plenty of fluids, and taking fever-reducing medications. There is no specific treatment for chikungunya, so the focus is on relieving symptoms.

Lymphoma: Lymphoma is a type of cancer that starts in the cells of the lymph system. The lymph system is part of the body’s immune system, which helps to protect us from infection and disease.

Hypersplenism: Hypersplenism is a condition in which the spleen becomes enlarged and overactive. The spleen is a small organ in the upper left of the abdomen that is part of the lymphatic system.

Hodgkin lymphoma: Hodgkin lymphoma is cancer that develops in the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system is part of the immune system, which helps the body fight infection.

Systemic lupus erythematosus: Systemic lupus erythematosus is an autoimmune disease that occurs when the body’s immune system attacks the body’s own tissues and organs. SLE can affect any part of the body, but most commonly affects the skin, joints, kidneys, and brain.

Febrile Neutropenia: Febrile Neutropenia is a condition associated with a decrease in the number of neutrophils, a type of white blood cell. Patients with FN are at an increased risk for infection, and the symptoms can range from mild to life-threatening.

Mononucleosis: Mononucleosis is an infection caused by the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). EBV is a type of herpes virus. Infectious mononucleosis is also called “mono.” Mono usually occurs in adolescents and young adults.

Vitamin B12 deficiency: Vitamin B12 deficiency can occur when the body does not have enough of this vitamin. This can lead to a type of anemia called pernicious anemia. Pernicious anemia is a condition in which the body cannot make enough healthy red blood cells.

Kissing disease in children: Kissing disease in children is one of the most well-known examples of the body’s Immune system at work. The body’s Immune system is a complex system that is constantly working to protect us from disease and infection.
